Accommodation

The organisation has reserved blocks of rooms at special prices at the following hotels for the period of September 3-10. Prices given are per room, per night, and include breakfast and taxes. Participants will be able to book rooms through the conference registration form. Payment of a one night deposit is due with registration; the participant will pay the remaining directly to the hotel at check-out. The rooms (at these prices) are only guaranteed until July 1st. After that date, we will endeavour to accommodate participants at these hotels, but no room availability or price guarantees can be made as early September is a busy month for tourism and conferences in Lisbon.
Hotel Açores Lisboa ****

	Walking ca. 10min: Leave the hotel and turn right. Walk for 40 meters through Praça de Espanha until the traffic lights. Cross Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian. You will see in your right “Teatro Aberto”. Go up the stairs just before “Teatro Aberto”. The Mosque will appear just in front. Climb the stairs between the Mosque and the Bank “Banco Nacional de Crédito”. On the top of the stairs, go right. After walking a few meters you will see the Rectory Building.

	Walking ca. 15min: Leave the hotel and turn left. Go around the hotel and walk for 150 meters along Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian. On the traffic lights turn right to cross the avenue. You will see in your right “Teatro Aberto”. Go up the stairs just before “Teatro Aberto”. The Mosque will appear just in front. Climb the stairs between the Mosque and the Bank “Banco Nacional de Crédito”. On the top of the stairs, go right. After walking a few meters you will see the Rectory Building.

Student Residence "Alfredo de Sousa"
	Single occupancy: € 160 Double occupancy: € 140 The residence has modules of 1 single and 1 double room sharing a bathroom, 6 equipped kitchens, 6 laundry rooms with semi-industrial washing machines and ironing facilities, 5 study rooms, a TV/video room. All bedrooms have telephone and wireless Internet access. Students have to bring their own towels. In the building there is also a bookshop, a photocopy centre, and the bar of the Faculty of Law Student Association.
	We have reserved a small number of rooms at the student residence right next to the conference venue. These rooms are available to student participants who register for the conference and one of the workshops, tutorials, or doctoral symposium. Unlike for hotel rooms, the prices given above are per person, for seven nights (September 3-10), do not include breakfast, and have to be paid in advance, together with the registration fee.
